I've finally got the internet at my flat and it's so good! I had such a rush of excitement last night and ended up playing css till 4am ^_^ i intend to be playing css every single night, for as much as i can of the evening lol. I must have natural talent or something, because it's been SO long since i've played properly, and last night i won three gun games in a row and on a surf map i got 102:26 kd which is pretty sweet. Admittedly i was awping like crazy ^_^

Now i've got the internet, all my non-existent viewers can expect to see more posts!

Now for the real reason for this post. At work there is this secretary person who decides to take the short cut through straight through my office when getting coffee - which is like every 20 minutes throughout the day. Now, i don't mind people walking through my office normally as they usually have something funny to say or have a genuine reason. Anyway, for some reason she REALLY made me feel uneasy when she walked past, and i didn't know why/how until recently. It's because she walks REALLY slowly. Turns out, when people walk past me slowly, it makes me quite uneasy... Not sure why! But it does. I generally haven't liked slow walking people for some time now as i walk with great speed, and it's the most frustrating thing ever having some day dreaming old lady on a sunday taking two steps back each step forward kinda thing lol.

Had such a good shop today. I caught a whiff of donuts as i was walking into tescos and thought to myself, i'm ALWAYS wanting donuts when i'm at my place, so i bought some ^_^ Also bought a hell of a lot of things i really didn't need lol, and spent £14 over my budget! Fortunately, i have about £200 of leeway lol. Plus i spent £6 under budget last week!

Good day.

Yesterday evening was the book launch of the newest title from the publishing company i work for (Paperbooks) "Angel Makers" I was in charge of everything technical at the event as, that is my job!

For all you who might be reading this that do have lives and don't know what the Angel Makers is - it's a new book out which is going to be very big apparently. It's being made into a film this year with stars such as John Hurt - he was in Alien, V for Vendetta, Hell Boy and some other pretty big hits!

Anyway, was a good evening - everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. For the initial part of the evening, all i was doing was taking pictures of crowds and suspected important people (I don't really know anyone considered famous in the literary world!) The most important person according to most people that i took some pictures of and spoke to was the MD of Curtis Brown - Jonathan Lloyd.

Once the speeches had been done, and i had got more than enough photographs, i decided i would mingle - however, if you know me, you'll know that i'm not the most sociable person! So, of course, with the free bar paid by my company, i proceeded to drink A LOT of wine. I realised this morning that was a bad idea =[ So i did mingle! It was quite good, despite the fact that you'd imagine the kinda people to turn up to a book launch to be pretty lame - well, if you're not into books lol. There were some really scary people that turned up. But also surprisingly there were some people that were more my kinda people. I was chatting in a group of people, and some how it came about the question of age. Everyone thought i was in my late 20's, hahahaha. How fun! (FYI i'm 19) and the majority of people in the group were mid 30's. Age wasn't an issue though as it was apparent i was far more mature than a lot of them! lol

Once things had died down a bit, the reminder of us went down to the bar area on the floor below us and had some more drinks. Here comes the fun bit - from about this point, i don't remember anything - all i can recall is occasional flashes of things. I remember drinking lots of vodka and it being freezing outside. I also remember us heading into china town where we had a really nice meal - not one of those all you can eat deals. It was proper flashy ^_^ Though saying that, the taste in my mouth of chinese this morning wasn't very nice >< My boss(s) had decided it would be best if i stayed at their house - which was quite cool as i didn't have to get up as early as i would have normally.

And here we are now - me at work, feeling extremely hung over, writing this and wishing i was at home =[ I haven't been drinking in ages which is probably why alcohol had such a huge effect on me!

Live long, and prosper, all.

Hi all!

First proper blog post!

I've been trying to conveniently bump into my neighbors in the hope they might be cool, or just for the fact that it'd be interesting to meet them, see what they're like etc. One evening, after a few glasses off wine and a nice meal i came up with the idea of baking all my neighbours little each a "little apple pie to say hi" lol. SO - last weekend, i went to give out my apple pies - even went to the trouble of buying 5 little pots of cream for everyone. I was extremely nervous when knocking on the first person's door, as i had no clue what they'd be like, what the reaction to my quite strange idea would be. So anyway, i thought, here goes nothing, *knock knock*........

Hmm, okay, so maybe they aren't in. I went back into my flat, giggled to myself insanely for about 5 minutes and then collected myself. I decided i'd write the person a little note and put the apple pie and cream in a plastic bag and hang it on their door handle. Did that, went back into my flat, did a bit more nervous insane giggling. Then i realised there would be a slight dilema with the next two flats - as they are directly across from each other. I had roughly planned out what i wanted to say to the people, and if the other people from the other flat over heard, they might not feel so special kinda thing lol. But i thought fuck it, i'll talk quietly. So i went down the stairs to the next two flats, *knock knock"........

Ah hmm...... okay maybe they're out too, i'll try the other one. Finally a bit of luck - after about 30 seconds of waiting after one knock someone came to the door - i had kinda met this guy before, he came out when i initially moved in and was giving me details because my stupid agent was late and i couldn't get through to her mobile. But anyway, i chatted to him for a while. To be fair he looked very confused and quite scared - there was me standing in all black, eye liner, my hair done and all with my skinnys on, holding an apple pie - i was also about a foot taller than this guy lol. But anyway, he seemed nice - can't remember his name. Something strange... he was Irish or Australian or something exotic like that lol.

ANYWAY, turns out like, only two other people live in all these flats lol, so i have lots of apple pie up for grabs - any offers? =P

Hello everyone!

I have no friends atm, so who i'm saying hello to is unknown to me! But anyway. I've been meaning to get round to making a live journal account - and now i have! I have quite a fair amount of time on my hands and so thought writing blogs would be an interesting thing for me to do. Plus it's a good way of telling everyone about my going on's!

Hope i find some friends soon! Going to have to have a search for people i know who have live journal!

Live long, and prosper x
